Looking for an easy and quick, vegan air fryer recipe? Then you need to try this delicious vegan air fried plantains! It is the perfect healthy appetizer or afternoon snack.
This is probably one of the easiest recipes you'll ever make in your air fryer. It is so easy even a kid could do it! All you have to do is cut, coat, toss and let your air fryer do the rest.
This recipe takes less than 15 minutes and all you need is three simple ingredients.
Slice your plantain at an angle, cutting pieces that are about 1/2" thick.
Toss the plantain slices, oil, and salt together in a medium bowl. Make sure that all of the pieces get coated in oil.
Transfer to your air fryer basket, and air fry at 400° F for 8-10 minutes, shaking after 5 minutes. Your plantains are done when they're browned on the outside and tender on the inside. Cooking time will vary depending on how ripe your plantains are. Check in at 8 minutes, and add another minute or two, if needed, to reach that nice, browned outside.
